Creases, veins, subtle unevenness, and sensitivity to scratches are merits of natural leather allowing each piece to become more beautiful with every wear.

We believe luxury should last a lifetime.  We test our bags to simulate 20 years of use in an Italian testing facility. We also offer a yearly check-up service for your Métier to ensure it is in its best condition and grows beautifully with age.  Additionally, to ensure the your Métier stands the test of time, we invite you to follow these recommendations;

• Avoid prolonged and direct exposure to sources of light, heat and humidity.
  
• Avoid contact with water, oils, perfumes or cosmetic.  Should your Métier encounter moisture, simply dab with a damp cloth and let dry at room temperature.  Dab rather than wipe to protect the surface of the leather.
  
• Avoid products meant for other purposes such as oil, shoe polish, solvents or turpentine.
  
• Avoid having your Métier in contact with anything coarse, abrasive or sharp.
  
• Particularly in the case of suede items, friction may cause slight colour transfer, especially in humid environments.  This should especially be considered when wearing or sitting on light colours.
  
• When not in use, your Métier is happiest inside its dust bag.
