How It’s Made: Meribel Woven
Woven by hand in an atelier outside of Florence, the leather is named ‘Méribel’ as a nod to Charlotte Perriand’s beloved chalet in the French Alps. It is made by taking our classic Buffalo leather and hand-weaving each panel of the bag. The leather takes our classic Black and Cognac leather which provides a rich grain and subtle shine.
How It’s Made: The Metal Plate
Inside each limited edition bag is a custom metal plate crafted from solid brass. Each plate has a unique serial number to indicate its edition and style information.
How It’s Made: The Perriand City Handle
Each handle is created by an artisan in Florence who inserts a special braiding into a piece of leather before it is folded and stitched to become our signature Perriand handle.
